Tennis activity missing - SS7

Hi all - just got my Solar Sapphire 7 Titanium (which was a pleasant surprise as the order page said 4 - 5 weeks yet the delivery time was < 1 week)

Anyway. I thought (from reviews) that the Fenix 7 had a tennis activity. I'm on the latest firmware (did an update) but no tennis. Is it me being stupid or is tennis missing??

You're a genius!!

Yep - updating via Garmin express gives you a newer version than updating via the app. The newer version (7.20) includes a whole bunch of extra activities (including tennis)

Tennis is ok and has most data fields you'd probably care about but.... Padel seems to have way more data fields available (so you might want to use that for squash).

In either you can customise the screens (single or multiple screens showing up to 6 data fields)

Thanks! Will look into it... What baffled me is that tennis does not seem to record distance or steps, since it's not a field you can select.
Hoping to get back on court shortly, if only light hits. Injured and got permission to start light running, so can hopefully get to squash within a week or two. Time to play around with settings.

Tennis does record steps , distance etc (you can view them in the connect app)... Just don't know why you can't choose them as data fields in the watchface

hmm i'm having the same issue but when i get on express it also says up to date :( can't seems to update it to 7.2
