I got my Fenix 7 (base model with 16GB) and uploaded North America topo maps. I expect to be traveling later this year (pending Covid status) to several countries and continents. I cannot fit all maps onto my new Fenix. Uploading 9GB maps in a hotel will be horribly slow if not impossible. Hence my question - can maps be downloaded and stored on my laptop or phone while I am still at home (before travel) and then just uploaded to my watch without any need for high speed internet access?
