Can't get watch lap announcement on phone

Its bugged. The app I think. Here in Forum and on Facebook are multiple posts about it. 

Bugger. Since when? It's still working for my old Fenix 6s

Its not a problem for the 6. you can test it. Pair your fenix 7 direct with your headphones. You will get the notifications. If u pair the headphones with Your phone it didn’t work. That’s why I think it’s the app. I’ve resolved it due reinstalling the app and repair the watch after deleting all my garmin devices from connect app and blue tooth settings. But this didn’t work for all.

I don't own headphones, thus I can't test this.

So you can get voice announcements to your Phone from the watch if you are listening on music from your phone with headset paird to the phone?

Uh... I don't listen to music on my phone. Never. I listen to what's happening around me. Wind, birds, waves, whatever. I just want the lap announcements on my phone and otherwise no beeping, music, other stuff.

Uh Well ok, good for you :) I on the other hand like music or podcasts and what not.
That´s why i asked.
