Can't control music volume from watch, earphones volume too high, earphone functions do not work

Fénix 7 + Spotify + JBL Under Armour True Wireless Flash

After successful bluetooth connection Spotify music starting on max. volume, by pressing the volume keys on the watch does not display the speaker icon, instead the attached strange thing...

Also, the earphone functions (pause, next song) do not work.

Doesn’t help, Garmin says that volume control simply doesn’t work sometimes and they sent me link to their web page with support topic. They also do not explicitly say which Headset will work…

Any solution to this? I have the same earphones and still this problem. Running 8.18 firmware. After disconnecting and reconnecting the volume some times work out ok. Very frustrating.

I've got the same problem with JBL reflect flow. With the fenix 6 they worked perfectly.

Maybe just a glitch? Switching off an on the F7 may help perhaps?

I tried to restart the watch, the earphones, disconnect and connect it again, nothing helped

Did anyone get a solution for this? I'm inclined to return my Fenix 7 as all functionality on my 5 plus worked perfectly. JBL true wireless, Spotify and Fenix should be the perfect combination

Same problem on my new Fenix 7.

I used the great sport "UA¦JBL True Wireless" Headphone on my Fenix 6 Pro without any problems. An now with the Fenix 7, I can't control the sound volume (only max. sound).

Garmin, please correct this shame because it's not normal that when you buy a new Garmin watch you must also buy new headphones (ask your Marketing team, this is not good).

Has this issue been resolved? I still get exactly the same issue on my fenix 7 solar sapphire when using spotify and JBL TW earphones
