Alarm settings on 7x - where are they ?

For the 6x you used to be able to set the alarm on the app - but with the new 7x I can’t find it.  Am I missing something or is it only configurable on the watch ?

    It’s not in Garmin Connect currently.

    I also couldn't find it and wanted to add my voice to yours asking for it to be added back to GCM....

    Hello! 

    Any update about this? I don't know why is not possible to set the alarms from GC and only from the F7 that is "more difficult". I gift to my girlfriend the Venu SQ2 and with it is possible to set it quickly from the mobile.

    Not going to lie. I have been using the F7 since it was released, and I have never noticed it is not on the app anymore. I cant think of any reason for this change and it seems kinda silly.

    It's a bit sick that this clear omission has not been fixed in almost a year. One can manage alarms through the Garmin Connect app on the majority of Garmin watches / bands that have alarm functionality. There is no reasonable explanation for Fenix 7 range not to have alarms manged through the app. 
    I am very used to set alarms on the phone and watch in one go, using the phone. When I switched to Fenix 7X I had to start adjusting alarm on the watch itself, 'like an animal' ;) 
    Come one Garmin! Chop, chop! Enough is enough :) Let's have alarms in Garmin Connect for Fenix 7, like they already are for most other model ranges.

    And why fenix 7 has only 10 alarms ?? They are not enough.

    There are currently no engineering plans to add more features in the Connect Mobile APP that can be changed in the APP and synced to your Fenix 7 series watch. (However, that does not mean the abilities won't be added at a future point. Fingers crossed.)

    There's actually a lot of functionality that you used to be able to set in either the mobile app or GC web and have it sync to the watch that was removed in the 7 series. Things like alarms and  hr and power zones are easier to do off of the watch, but Garmin disagrees. Change for the sake of change is not always a good thing.

    Of the three examples cited only alarms are only done from the watch. Power and HR zones can be set on the watch or in GCM

    Plans change. This one needs to change :) Or change the engineers... Else more consumers will change the watch brand. In our rescue team a bunch of people went with Fenix 7X or Enduro 2 when they saw mine and appreciated the flashlight and touch in some scenarios. But, no matter how silly it sounds, most of the guys returned these and stick to 6X or previous Tactix (whatever they had) because for various shifts, on-route patrol etc. they need to set multiple alarms and modify them quickly each day. And so, the need to set alarms on the phone and on the watch separately, instead of setting them all quickly on the phone and sending to the watch turned out to be a deal breaker for a few great lads. I'm not that crazy about it as my routine is more regular - I mostly train them, not parting in daily crazy routines anymore. So I kept my 7X but I do understand their decision and would love to have the alarm management back in the app, as for my other Garmin watches and bands used over the years on several accounts.
