Tried the Running Light Strobe feature on tonight's run. I wasn't expecting much after reading both DC Rainmaker's and DesFit's reviews of the feature. The 1st quarter mile it did seem erratic, but it sorted itself out and worked like a charm for the remainder of my workout. The white LED flashed every 4th forward arm swing (8th stride). Same with the red LED, every 4th backward arm swing. I was running an interval workout and the light cadence held to every 4th arm swing regardless of a slow recovery jog, or fast portion of the interval cycle. I usually walk during the HR recovery (2min) after finishing my run. The strobe continued to operate during this phase until I saved the activity. Seems to be well thought out.
I'm a fan.
