Advice needed from an X owner

I've worn an Instinct, f6 sapphire, and now an f7X 24/7.  I find really no difference between the three from a comfort standpoint.

I'm really loving the larger size over the mid-size.  Easier for my old eyes to see.

I have been wearing 24x7 a 6X Pro Sapphire and now a 7X Sapphire.  My advice however is to replace the stock ban with a Nick Mankey Designs band.  Night and day comfort difference.  The Garmin band by comparison is not nearly as comfortable.

I'm not a big guy - wrist is only 16cm / 6.5".

I've never found my 7X (or the 6X I had before it) to be too big. I wear it 24/7 without any issue at all.

To me, the smaller sizes have too many sacrifices - smaller screen, smaller battery, and the S in particular has less datafields (up to 6 per page, instead of 8). I'd only consider getting one if the X size was just way too big for me, but I find that the size is no issue at all.

I’ve always had the biggest Garmin and wear every single one 24/7, never a problem. 

I wear my 6X comfortably 24/7 with the garmin ultrafit strap. (Wrist size 17.5-18 cm)

I owned a 5x and found it to be too bulky to wear during sleep. It was the same size as the 3HR (googled it)

I then had the 5+ for a year. No issues sleeping with that watch. I think it was not only due the smaller 47mm case size but also the 15.8 mm thickness (5x : 17.5 mm) 

The 6x and 7x have a thickness of 14.9 mm, and it feels just as comfortable as the 5+ did day and night.

Volume-wise the 6x/7x is closer to the 5+ than the 5x

5x : 143 cubic cm

5+: 110 cubic cm

6x/7x: 122 cubic cm

I recommend the ultrafit strap because you can make microadjustment for best fit and the nylon feels better against the skin than the rubber strap in my opinion.
