Fenix 7 factory reset

Something went wrong during first setup and now watch screen is flashing (shows only FENIX7 after every 1 sec). After pairing with phone and connected to wi-fi an update arrived and I started it. Soon after I noticed this flashing and now looks like it crashed or something.

How to do factory reset using buttons? Or what else to try?

Power off

Power on then immediately press and hold top and bottom right

on first sound release top right

On second sound release bottom right

Mine locked up at 6.55. At 7.2 now. The support guy said to hold light button in for 20 sec. It worked.

No response from Garmin support so far (4 days).

I finally took it back to the store (official dealer). They tried also everything but no luck. Left it there

That’s just a hard reboot not a factory reset

Did you try their online chat on their website? I've always gotten instant support from someone with that

Mine locked up as well as soon as the 7.2 update downloaded needed to take it back to get replacement now have auto update software off and my replacement is 6.57. It bricked my watch
