Any idea on the difference in accuracy between the GPS setting versus the All Systems and All Systems + Multiband?
Any idea on the difference in accuracy between the GPS setting versus the All Systems and All Systems + Multiband?
Just did a complete a run with my 7X Sapphire seting up with "all system+multiband": comparing to my Delta Solar setting up with GPS+Glonass (or GPS+Galileo), it's night and day! There's a part of my routine…
the Airoha/MediaTek chip (AG3335M) that is almost certainly used by Garmin supports GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/ BeiDou/NavIC/QZSS

Garmin's own page only says GPS, Glonass and Galileo.
No:

And my question is, does pure F7 support all satellite systems with QZSS and BEIDU?
DCRainmaker tries to estimate a difference in his review, the answer seems to be: not much
Just did a complete a run with my 7X Sapphire seting up with "all system+multiband": comparing to my Delta Solar setting up with GPS+Glonass (or GPS+Galileo), it's night and day! There's a part of my routine run where none of watches of all brands that i have tested before can manage the correct route, Fenix 7X it's spot on! Very impressed with this!
And my question is, does pure F7 support all satellite systems with QZSS and BEIDU?
According to DCRainmaker, yes.
I'm not sure if it supports all of them simulateously or not, though. It might just pick the 2 best constellations at any given moment. I'm not sure though.
Happy to hear that
I just ordered f7 sapphire Ti blue cobalt
I guess DCRainnmaker said it didn't change much, and as I noticed on his track images, it did not so. But after seeing this test, things might change...
95% of the time, dual-band won't change much. It's that other 5% where it matters, like in steep canyons and under heavy tree cover.
I have mine set to use multi-band for everything right now, but eventually I imagine I'll probably go back to using single-band for all my typical day-to-day local activities, and reserve multi-band for more extreme circumstances such as hiking, mountaineering, trail running, etc.
My first run with a 7x SS using All Systems and for me there is a massive improvement.
I was under the dual-frequency band that solves the multi-path issues presented under heavy cloud cover and other atmospheric aberrations.
But Garmin says only GPS/GLONASS/GALLILEO. There is no information in manual about that. So what is true???
