Garmin Custom Maps working?

I was owner and user of EPIX and Fenix 5 and 6. On these watches so called Custom Maps (KMZ format) can be applied. For Custom Maps see: support.garmin.com/.../ .
My question: Do the new EPIX 2 and Fenix 7 solar watches also work with Custom Maps?

He is not asking about 3. party img maps. Sorry, I have no custom maps with kmz format available for testing.

I have uploaded custom TalkyToaster IMG topo maps with and without DEM and so far have no issues.

never used it, but can confirm that on the fenix 7, the customMaps folder still exist, hope that helps.

This Answer helps. If it is a folder inside the watch, so CustonMaps will work. How Volker wrote: a CustomMap is not a IMG-Map. A customMaps is a rastermap (non routable) and a img-Map ist normally a vector map which is routabe. In some country and regions is a CustomMap the best and only solution!
