Screen protector compatibility F6 <-> F7

My Fenix 6X Sapphire never had a screen protector and it has zero scratches.  I worked every day with it on in a warehouse environment.  I also hiked, backpacked, alpine climbed, cycled and worked around the house with it on.  The sapphire lens is unbelievably hard and scratch resistant which I am grateful for as I never had a screen protector on it.

I believe the screen size is the same, I've ordered a Fenix 6 screen protector.  Sapphire should be very scratch resistant but the tempered glass screen protectors are invisible now and very cheap so it seems a no brainer to fit one.  

I don't think glass is the same, solar area is wider and screen is the same, so the glass i think it's larger.

There also another thing to consider: has Fenix 7 Sapphire version a domed glass? If yes, no tempered protector stay on, only tpu screen protector.

I would say;

1. Fit, it's pretty much spot on, you get about 1-1.2mm of uncovered screen around the circumference.  I think this is by design (my iPhone one is the same) so you can remove easily, etc.  

2. Domed glass, the Epix is flat

3. Display, as normal with tempered glass it's pretty much invisible, touch screen works perfectly with it.  

Have u got Epix or Epix Sapphire?

So I think it hasn't a domed glass...

Protectors from 6x are a little bit loose on 7x. About 1,5mm- 2mm is missing.
