garmin Pay not working Fenix 5 Plus

When trying to add a card onto garmin pay the app suggests that my watch is not connected.

my watch is definitely connected and I even turn on and off Bluetooth.

i even reinstalled the garmin connect app, but still can’t get this function to work.

  • Remove the watch from Garmin connect and from your devices paired devices. I don't remember whether you need the clean the Garmin Connect app cache, but it won't hurt either. When done, connect your watch again and try again. 

    I once had the problem and solved it that way (or very similar).
