garmin Pay not working Fenix 5 Plus

When trying to add a card onto garmin pay the app suggests that my watch is not connected.

my watch is definitely connected and I even turn on and off Bluetooth.

i even reinstalled the garmin connect app, but still can’t get this function to work.

  • Remove the watch from Garmin connect and from your devices paired devices. I don't remember whether you need the clean the Garmin Connect app cache, but it won't hurt either. When done, connect your watch again and try again. 

    I once had the problem and solved it that way (or very similar).

  • Hi, I am having the same issue. I did all the disconnections, / reconnections / pairing etc and the problem is still there. I keep getting the same message (shown above)...

    Any "more scientific" ideas that somebody tried and it worked? Slight smile

  • I have the same problem. I tried: Remove clock from the application, Clear cache, Remove the application, Remove bluetooth communication, Install all reborn.
    Did not help.
    I tried to install old versions of the Garmin connect and delete a wallet, updated to the latest version of the application and add cards. Did not help.
    I did hard reset. Did not help.
    I tried 5 cards, Visa, Master. Previously, they worked with Garmina Pay. Now they do not work.

  • Have the same problem.

    Tried to reinstall the app, remove the watch from Garmin Connect, did not help. 

  • You need to wait a month, then it will work itself
