Garmin Pay d'electes wallet for security reasons

Hi,

Some hours after adding a credit card to my epix gen2, the Garmin Connect mobile app shows a message saying that the card has Bee deleted from my Epix 2 due security reasons.

I deleted the card, added again from scratch but a few hours later card has been deleted from my Epix, Epix has the 18.14 firmare version.

Any idea?

You need to reset your wallet.

I posted this earlier on another thread, but I am having the same issues with my Fenix 8, every time I sync, the cards get deleted due to security precautions, so now I don't sync my watch with the phone…

Ok, so basically we cannot depend on the watch even if the cards are showing up on it. Thank you for the update. Will be careful in the future.

I am exactly in this situation after like 5 Hard resets of watch and GC. I even contacted my bank and they say the problem is in Garmin, Garmin support just told me do another hard reset. I am seriously considering to return the watch.

I am stuck that while my GC shows no card, watch shows the card and even after synchs, no change...

I have some updates, since yesterday, my payments are working again. I will not lie to you, it was a horrible process, which I went to restore and reset almost everything I could, so what I did:

1) I logged off Garmin Connect, uninstalled it and changed my password to Garmin account, it seems to me like important step.

2) I connected watch to Garmin Express and again, logged off from Express and Watch.

3) I went for Factory RESET of the watch.

4) Upon advise of my Bank, I made TOKEN reset in my Internet Banking for my Cards and set up Google Pay again.

5) Set up all again, and after couple of hours, the cards remained in Garmin Connect.

6) So I thought, brilliant and went to Lidl store to make my first payment - card blocked and payment did not go through.

7) Repeated the process with the bank help and after few hours, it started to work.

Outstanding work Garmin!

Oh wow, but after so much work, Garmin should be paying you a salary. Please keep me updated in a few days? One point i did not mention or did not think was relevant earlier is; I have Garmin pay connected to my Edge 1050 and Forerunner 965, no issues there, the cards never get deleted, just happens to my new Fenix 8.
