worth having an epix 2 and a fenix 7x same user?

Well I bought an epix 2 white 1 month ago and sold my old 6x.

First impression is that the watch feels and looks much smaller.  The looks if negative for me ( went from a  big black 6x to a small white epix) but the watch with an enduro type band is so light I can sleep with it ( could never with the 6x to darng big!) and is really comfy.

So I bit the bullet and get a f7x because I feel I miss the size. I really like the F7x but the epix screen is much better and lighter.

I was thnking of selling the epix but might just keep both to mix things up ( white vs black) . I also own an oura gen 3 and I could maybe sell it (size 12) and only use the garmin echosystem but using the epix as my sleep tracker.

The thing is ...Physio true is supposed to transfer data to the watchs....but its pretty shotty at best.

When will Garmin have a better way to get the data from and to different watches?

I guess when the 51mm epix (with the flashlight) comes out next year..I ll sell these two to buy that one!!!

  • If you tend to use (or just like looking at!) Garmin's performance metrics, I wouldn't recommend two watches as Physio True-Up is a bit of a half-baked mess at the moment, especially with the new Training Readiness and associated HRV features. Garmin are apparently putting effort into making True-Up what it should be, so I'm hoping that once they've done this and got it working properly, it would be more viable to run two Garmins.

  • I had been looking at updating my 6x pro and have been on the fence which one to pull the trigger on Fenix 7x or Epix2. What I really wanted was the the FR955 until I actually owned it having a hard time liking it at the moment. After buying the 955 I powered down the 6x and put it in a drawer, when I powered it back up the battery was 100% depleted Garmin has never seen this issue on the 6x so this will be my second warranty replacement so with that it was time to upgrade after much back and forth i went with the 7x and the Epix after testing both I returned the 7x but I think I will hold on to the 955 in hopes of better true up metrics. For me keeping both the 7x and the Epix didn't make sense, I like the size of both but the Epix was so much easier to read during my workouts.

  • That’s not the behavior of my epix. I can see my epix in the brightest sunlight even on the lowest brightness setting.

  • Hello,

I am on a trip and use the f7x and sometimes the epix 2x (i am out of the return so I prob gonna keep both).

Now, the big problem is when I wake up and switch watches I sync both watches but I dont get the sleep data on the other watch ...is there a way to fix this?
