Where is the ambient light sensor?

If it’s somewhere in the bezel maybe that’s why Epix doesn’t have solar?

I believe there is. There's defnitely difference in brightness when going upstairs in a dark hall vs. standing outside in the sun. Even in bright light I can see the difference.

My guess is lower part or the screen,where Garmin name is. Having trouble with display not waking up and covering that part of the screen is reactivating the sensor.
