Unexpected Crash/Restart During an Activity

During activity the watch is making unexpected restarts.
Using navigation feature I faced three times unexpected restarts during one activity.
Sometimes it restarts also without navigation, but these are rare cases.

I have always phone with me and the watch is connected to phone through BT.

Maybe this causing the restarts?

I am experiencing the same with my Enduro 2 with Version 10.43. Keeps on restarting when I was working out in the gym. Less frequent when I am not working out but this is very frustrating!

Yes, I'm having the same problem. Watch restarted 3 times yesterday whilst recording a hike activity. Switched off when on the map screen, re-starting and eventually showing the activity in a paused state. Very annoying and needs a fix!

I have such problems since May 2022, and Garmin was unable to fix this although I supplied photos, videos, RAM dumps, activity files, etc. to support. It bugs me every second day or so, and I am near selling this Fenix7 crap on Ebay.

I am sorry you have an issue. If you have not already, due to your restarts being random during your Hike activities, please reach out to Outdoor Product Support in your region and let them know your issue is random and frequent vs. at a specific location.

Thanks, it has happened before. Today it was whenever I pressed down from the map screen when navigating a course. I captured it on video. Much later in the walk it stopped doing it. Very frustrating. Garmin - Chris

Me too. Random. Although it seems to happen when the temp is very cold. Running in sub-5 degree C temps.

I encountered the same problem today with my Enduro2. Five restarts during a HIIT workout. Very frustrating! There's no fix?

Fenix 7x SS, bought more or less 2 months ago. No problems until 12/11 during my first marathon: after only 1 km the Fenix begun to restart by itself, and did it more or less 10 times. Very frustrating not to have the log of such an important activity…I’ve contacted italian support, and they suggested me to reset the watch (loosing all my settings…). Today I went out in a short run: 2 restarts in 7 km…Sincerly it’s unbelievable what’s happening. I had Suunto wtches for years, and only ONE crash…

BTW: Fenix is updted with the latest firmware
