And ist here any difference between update via watch (wifi) vs update via computer (garmin connect) in getting the update possibility
You usually get the new firmware if you plug in Garmin Express. You should also be able to get the firmware immediately if you enroll into the beta program.
The beta program delivers only the “release candidate” quality beta firmware over the air to the watch. The last nets just becomes the release. Often there is just one beta and even when there are issues with the beta they are often less significant than the current release firmware, at least at this stage of the product cycle.
When you notice a new software update announcement posted at the top of the forum, the average timeline to reach 100% release to all watches is up to 2 weeks.
