Native Power Enduro 2

DC Rainmaker & Des Fit both make reference about native running power on the Enduro 2 but share little detail on the feature. Does this mean we now have specific power data fields available in the various run modes vs having to use the connect IQ app?

be interest to hear what data fields are available if it is truly native i.e. 3sec, 5sec, 10sec, lap power etc etc

Yup, exactly as Robert noted. I've covered it extensively in the FR955 In-Depth Review, and it's the exact same here.

It’s the exact same thing. You need a HRM or RD pod for it to function but it’s certainly effective. Read DC Rainmaker or The 5k Runner posts on it (or any of the other reviews) - it’s well publicised now.

Any word on getting an option to disable the native running power recording? It’s causing havoc for those of us who use Stryd for this, as external platforms are using this instead of the Stryd data messing up all the metrics

Got my Enduro 2 yesterday, updated to software 9.33, paired my HRM-Pro and went for a run. Well, probably more like a jog - I‘m not a runner. However, I would have expected to see some power data in the activity details afterwards. There‘s nothing like power data to be seen, just efficiency data. What do I need to do to see running power?

Do you see running dynamics for that run? Make sure the strap is paired and connected over ANT+ and not BLE.

HRM-Pro (software version 8.80) paired via Ant+. I think it was connected when I ran, but I‘ll make sure next time. Do I need to configure a data field showing power to have the power data recorded to the activity? I did not have this for the first run, added a page now showing some power data.

No.

Again: Do you see running dynamics data for that run? No running dynamics means no power.

No, I don’t see running dynamics for this run. Sorry, should have answered your question above. OK, so I need to ensure that the strap is connected next time. Will let you know.

I can confirm a user error on my side - I probably failed to connect to the HRM-Pro on my first run. Yesterday it was fine, I saw some Watt data. Thank you!
