Connect+ Live Activity doesn't work on Mk3

I just subscribed to Garmin Connect+, mostly for the Live Activity feature. But, it turns out our Mk3 watches are not compatible.

Come on Garmin! When will this be added to our watches??

What sucks is that this is pretty much the only feature that could push me to buy the subscription. Everything else is trash. The AI insights is like someone telling me "Did you know 1+1=2? Keep adding more and you will get a bigger number". The baked in insights we already have are much better. The challenges?.. yeah whatever.

I would guess that it is coming in the next firmware release as Epix/Fenix 7 Pro already has it.

But then to question when we get that, maybe in about a month. I think it's been like 2 months from last quarterly firmware update and 1 months from fixing it's map issue.

Historically Descent series updates are about every 6 months, which means they bundle in a lot of changes in one go.

And because Descent is still on 19.xx and Fenix 7 is on BETA 21.xx I would assume we should get new FW couple weeks after Fenix 7 will get final 21.xx (possible this quarter).

Somehow though we still get a crippled version compared to the regular Fenix 7 and missing some obvious features.

Like, Fenix 7 has the strength coach thing already. Also weird stuff that Garmin won't accept as bugs, things like app icons not showing up properly in notifications and instead getting a generic chat bubble icon (looking at you discord).

Somehow things like that only exist in the descent line and never get on par with the Fenix line.

I agree, we also still have Garmin Coach, at least on my watch I'm not able to set Garmin Coach plan as it is shown on Garmin video and max distance I can select is half marathon.
