My 2 weeks old Descent got into demo mode yesterday night when I was sleeping. It keep in this mode even after i turn it off. I never put it into this mode, it started during night sleep mode, and now i cant get out. please advise how to fix it...

This happened to me while it was on a charger and then when I exited demo mode, it wiped my watch and then proceeded to start up again. Support asked me to send a video to them of it, then afterwards they…
I tried this 8 presses feature.. however it didn't work. I had to reset my watch and use restore from backup and it fixes it.

This is such a stupid feature though. Had to go through the same when I got my D3i a year ago. There’s no reason for me to enable the demo mode, ever. Why can’t it be disabled altogether from settings? Worst case scenario would be accidentally triggering the demo mode while in a remote place (think like a dive trip to Raja Ampat or a liveaboard somewhere etc) and not be able to restore it since there’s no cellular connection.
