Can I delete a pending FW update from the watch ?

I though I had disabled the automatic updates on the watch but apparently I hadn't.

So the watch notified me that there is an update to be installed (so obviously it's already downloaded in the watch I guess).

I postponed it, but it will do it the netxt time I am not using it, or something to that fahion.

Is there a way to delete the update from the watch before it gets installed.

I am talking about the last one the the map issues.

Yes, you can delete it. It is the big .gcd file (on some models gupdate.gsp) in the root //GARMIN/ directory

Please note that the option Automatic Updates only works for OTA updates. Whenever you connect…

Please note that the option Automatic Updates only works for OTA updates. Whenever you connect the watch to a computer with Garmin Express active, the update will be uploaded again, so think about deleting it before you disconnect the cable.
