Hello 8085813 You will generally see the full software release notes in the SW announcement at the top of the device forum.

Love the new tech diving data fields. Thanks a lot
People were complaining that Fenix 8 have snooze mode and Descent don't.
And now we have it, exactly like it is on Fenix 8.
I could say "be aware what are you asking for" ;)

What is "Added Auto Dive Snooze capability." ? Is it what people have been asking to prevent logging dives while in pool mode?
Same, question. What is it about the “Auto dive snooze”?? It can only be snoozed snoozed 1 hour (why 1 hour?.) or until tomorrow…
So what is the difference to Pool mode, that also snooze the Auto dive u til tomorrow? So now we have two snooze options until tomorrow? And none that can snooze the auto dive until activated again, as several have been asking for…???
Where did you even activate it? I can't find anything. How is it "auto"?
I assume the difference with Pool mode is that it doesn't get into dive mode? (Pool mode gets into dive mode and just doesn't save it to the logs)
It is activated on the quick choice menu, long push on the light button.
Yes, could be that it does not start the dive activity at all. Until midnight. Pool mode starts is but does not log the dive. So the dive snooze is useless to me… Could as well go wih pool mode. I do not see the point with Dive snooze. Could Garmin explain the idea with this perhaps…??
Ah so I guess it is so one can set it to auto choose either an apnea type or scuba type for when it gets automatically triggered, before it would just choose the last scuba type.
Some people complained that pool mode was not enough for them and they would rather dive mode not get triggered automatically at all, so that's probably why they added the snooze option.
They need to clarify these things...

Well, Fenix 8 can disable the pressure sensor, meaning a “permanent “ snooze, I think? (will check my wife’s Fenix 8). And that is what at least I would like to see on the Descent…
Sounds more like a "hack" or workaround though. And tbh disabling the pressure sensor is a bit of a safety risk on a dive computer.
