Button issues

I'm freediving abaout 3 times a week.

After each use the watch is rinsed with fresh water. Occasionally i even put it in lukewarm water for 10 minutes.

Maybe a week ago the light button seemed to be stuck once pressed and registered multiple "presses".

I put it under running water i heard a slight click and it was fixed.

Yesterday, the down button got kind of stuck. I say "kind of", because it was not really stuck in the socket, but it registered some extra "presses".

Then if I even touched or tapped the button without it being pressed, it registered as being actually pressed.

I rinsed it again, then the behavior stopped but then it did it for a couple of times more.

It is not doing it all the time though.

The watch is 2 months old.

    I also had abnormalities with the buttons after two 7-day dive trips. The start and the down button had a light resistance going on and out. (I rinsed it carefully after each dive). Then I left the watch in distilled water for couple hours and pressed each button for 20 times while it was still in the distilled water and now I haven't had an issue with them again.
