MK3I 51MM watch strap pin removal/replacement.

Good day... I usually use 3rd party watch straps since the fenix 3 without the quickrelease bucles (don'ttrustthem)... Iuse the straps that uses pins through them... but after receiving the MK3I 51mm; I noticed that the spring pins aren't easily removable... I'm afraid that if I force them they might break...

Has anyone removed them... if so; how did you do it..

It is true, there was a design change with band pins, since the Fenix 3. These are still spring bars, but a much tighter fit than the previous design. These are considered semi-permanent. This is to avoid the band coming loose when diving with the watch. It is not recommended to frequently remove the pins, as this could damage them. If replacement pins are needed, Product Support will have these available for purchase.
