Descent MK3i for hiking? Yes or no?

Hello everyone:)

I'm an active diver but also an active hiker :) and I'm looking for a smartwatch which I can use for everything (hiking and diving) without changing my watch everytime.

Can anyone tell me if this watch is also good for hiking?

Not just hiking, not just diving. It's good at EVERYTHING. Fantastic for cycling - even with power meters, etc.

it's as good as the other Garmin watches. not sure why you need to ask if it is good, Garmin is one of the best for those kind of activities.

Its great for hiking because the battery lasts a really long time. I have used my MK2i for my Everest Base Camp and Kilimanjaro hikes without any issues. I currently use my MK3i and have spent a week climbing Mount Baker and Mount Washington without any issues (all on one charge). I love the battery on this watch!

Sounds nice :) how did the watch work with navigation, tracking, elevation gain and and and?

The navigation, tracking and elevation is exactly the same as the Fenix and Epic watches. It's the same features as the Fenix 7 (but with diving capabilities).
