Why my previous dives from my Garmin Mk2i does not sync with my new Mk3i

Dear all

I'm a bit frustrated because I have around 60 dives in my Garmin Dive App, as well as in my Mk2i, problem is when i have change to my new MK3i is no way to make the dives visible in my new watch. All dives are in the App and in Garmin connect but I cannot download them to my watch, even if I restart or use the garmin Express with cable. Any ideas.

    To be honest, I'm not sure it is possible to any Garmin watch and any activity type.
    For sure, records and stats should be synchronized, but not activities.

    I will be able to confirm it, when my Descent MK3 will be finally delivered.

    Frankly told, there is no reason why the new watch should show old activities from another device, but if you really need them on your new MK3, just copy them over. You find them in the folder //GARMIN/Activity/ on the old watch. Copy them over to the same folder on the MK3. You could also copy them to the folder //GARMIN/NewFiles/ on MK3 - in that case they would be reparsed, and then moved to the Activity folder. It may influence some of the metrics, though, which may not be always desired.

    My dives from the Mk2i were automatically copied over to my new Mk3i when I synchronized it.

    Didn’t do anything special, they just appeared on my new watch…

    My MK3i finally arrived yesterday.
    All activities from old watch (Fenix 7) were copied to Descent.

    This is frustrating the *** outa me too!! Went from a Descent MK1 to a MK2i and all dives were synced fine, now I have a MK3i and dives show in Garmin dive and not on the MK3 :-( Tried everything and last resort will be copying the activities from a backup I made before selling the old watch. Now I just have to remember where I backed them up too lol

    I have the same problem and it's a real PITA!! I had the original Descent, moved to MK2i no problem, now I have a MK3i and dives show in Garmin connect and Garmin dive but will just not synch. Even tried restoring from the MK2i to the MK3i and no go! only other option no will be for me to copy the dive activities over to the new watch! once I remember where I backed up too lol.

    It is even worse.
    I had to reset my MK3 and set up from beginning, after copy restore I have all my activities except dives.

    It looks like a bug.

    , could you be so kind and address it to Descent developers team?
