Has anyone been skiing with the Descent Mk3i?

OK no answers yet. I will be skiing in February and will let you know if it works or is still broken.

I’ve been skiing with this watch in Alta. Seems fairly accurate but the big buttons u set a glove make it way to easy to stop the activity. I keep losing half my day and of Garmin connect wont let medit the descent

Unfortunately, I got COVID in the days leading up to my trip, so was unable to test it. Does it include Lift time in the total or does it just record the downhill like it was in the past?

You could use the "Lock Device" feature in Controls menu:

Lock Device

Select to lock the buttons and the touchscreen to prevent inadvertent presses and swipes.

I cannot tell you how it will be on Descent because I'm still waiting mine to be delivered.
But I was last weekend skiing and I've use my Fenix 7 (Descent have same base software) and it register whole my activity with split to downhills and lifts and showed distance only for downhills.
Also calculated time on slopes and ski lifts.

Aucun problème au ski fiable reconnais les montées et les descentes.

Par sécurité je verouille les touches pour éviter arrêt de l activité par erreur avec les gants.
