Device Connection Error

Merry Christmas all. I bought my son a 43mm MK3i for Xmas and, whilst it pairs fine with my iPhone XR and his iPad, it won’t connect with his iPhone SE (gen 2). His phone is running the latest iOS. When he tries to pair, once the QR code is scanned, it finds his phone but then as it switches to the screen to complete the connection set-up, it immediately flips to ‘Device Connection Error’. For the life of us, we can’t figure out the problem. Any help hugely appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe try disconnecting other BT devices, such as headphones etc.

I have a 43mm and an Iphone SE (2022 - can't remember if that's gen 2 or gen 3) and haven't had any connection issues. Also, may be worth restarting the phone, then completely unpairing/disconnecting the watch and then re-pairing it.

Thanks folks. Managed to get it working. As suggested, it required a total delete and reset of the Bluetooth connection, Dive app etc. Appreciate the help.
