Great to see Garmin have finally started the 8.64 rollout for the Descent G1. I’m not showing any available update, so I guess I’m not in the initial 20%, but does anyone know how quickly Garmin normally complete these staged rollouts (assuming they don’t find any issues), and do they also do this at a slower pace for dive computers?
I wish they’d let you force a manual update, but I don’t think you can, can you?
Also, it would have been good if the release notes had been more specific about the non-dive changes rather than just compare them to the Instinct 2, as that’s had several updates over the 3 months since the Descent launched meaning that’s multiple release notes we need to wade through.
