H S I Issue

The H S I is inaccurate. When one presses the light button to bring up nearest and activates this, the blue arrow depicting nearest is accurate but the H S I is totally inaccurate. Checked with my Garmin 760. This issue ongoing for months and Garmin Europe totally unable to help. Any setting changes merely changes the compass and has no effect on H S I. Latest software downloaded. Could forum members test their devices please?

I will check the HSI on my next flight, but that probably won't be until January now.

Are you talking about the D2 Air X10? I have one and tried the "Nearest" function while midair, although the distance was correct, HSI was completely off. i thought I did something wrong and never tried to use it again as I have glass panels in the cockpit.

Was talking about the Mach 1. Apparently software update in March to rectify.
