Will there be a MARQ VERSION 2 now Epix and Fenix 7 have launched?

I was looking at my Marq Athlete this morning and still love the design. I was thinking how good would it be if the Epix tech was inside it! Just seeing what other people think?

I would like to see an OLED screen and LTE connectivity on a Marq 2. The AOD battery specs for the Epix 2 seem reasonable.

Nah, Marq isn't trying to have "the cache & cost of an heirloom time piece" something like, say, a Patek or Lange which will cost you $50K. Even an Omega will cost you $5k and I wouldn't call that "heirloom", more just a good watch.

Garmin is more going for the tool-watch vibe like, say, a Sinn or Tag ($3k-$6k), or better, Casio G-Shock MR-G, most of which cost $3k and some $8k.

Basically Garmin recognizes there are people who want the tech, but don't want a plastic case, thus Marq.

I'm in that camp, but I also didn't want a MIPS display so hoping the new Marqs are coming soon with OLED!

Garmin fixed that less than a month after the release because of the significant backlash. Now the always on display works fantastic. It will dim and reduce some of the watch face details until movement, but the display itself never goes completely black when it is on my wrist with AOD enabled.

Case size and design virtually unchanged from the original - I couldn't be happier :-)

Looks like embargo time is 12:00 (UK) today, 11th October with limited stocks (possibly certain models only) arriving at dealers w/c 31st October.
