So, I just noticed some tiny lint, (or whatever it was) in one of the micro tiny holes on the side of the watch sensor. I assume this is the baro / alt. sensor.
What's the deal with this getting "clogged" over time?

I have had a Polar RS800CX, a Suunti Ambit 3, a Fenix 5 and a Marq Expedition the recent two years. All of these with barometric sensors. And so far so good. I clean my watch almost daily after my daily training session (under running water). Clogging of the sensor holes may be a problem if you are in a very dusty environment and do not clean the watch afterwards
My watches have been on my wrist in many different environments and activities. From dusty trail and MTB runs to icy ski sessions. I do consider the sensor holes as the most sensitive part, but do my activities as I want to
Sounds good! In my case, I used a small eraser to remove a fine scratch, and noticed that some of the eraser filled in some of the holes on the sensor. Getting that out, seems impossible now. lol. So, I don't know if it effects it or not.
