the calculation is WAY WAY off - My daily commute will amount to a 16-24 hours recovery (each way) - It seems really wrong, that a 8 kilometer bike ride at average pace of 22 km/H - should amount to 24 hours recovery, I bought the watch to do more sport, not less ;)
If humans can not endure an ounce more than 8 kilometer on bike pr. day - consuming only 206 calories, i wonder how any one can survive anything but an office job, or how we came this fare, as humans, i'm pretty sure hunter gatherers burned more than 206 calories pr day looking for food.
i'm pretty confident my body can handle me commuting to and from work + doing sports after work, when i did a 100KM bike run, it had a recovery time of 48 hours or was it 36 - this seems fair. but the super high recovery times on a 8Km trip... perhaps 2 hours recovery max.
SO is there any way to fix this, or is it an enharient poor algorithm from Garmin ?
