Vo2max indicator is not working .

I have a Garmin Marq Athlete (9.0.0) and I lost my training status the last month since I was doing biking.

When I restarted running I regained training status but the VO2max value is not depicted on my watch face.

Do you have a idea how to restore it?

  • Hi ,

Your watch can remember two VO2 Max values at a time, one for cycling and one for running. After two weeks without a relevant activity recorded, a previous VO2 Max will expire. After it expires, you once again need two activities before a VO2 Max will be reported again.

If you have only been on one run, then I believe your VO2 Max will return to the watch face after your next run.

However, if you have done two recent runs, it may be a setting that needs updating on your watch. Press and hold the Menu button, then select Watch Face. Select your current watch face, then Customize. Next choose "Select Sport," which will allow you to toggle between Run and Bike for the VO2 Max indicator on the watch face.

Let us know if nether of these help!

    Thanks,

  • I changed sport and it is working.

So I guess that vo2 max for cycling is different and on my case it is not calculated.

Many thanks for the quick response.

And remember you need a power meter for VO2max on a bike.
