Marq - 8.78 Beta Release

Hello MARQ customers,

The newest MARQ beta software is now available for your upcoming adventures! The beta below is not compatible with MARQ Aviator.

8.78 Change Log Notes:

Brought in improvements for grit and flow.
Fixed an issue where the device could crash on the map page during an expedition activity.
Fixed an issue where the device would crash while powering down if battery saver was enabled.
Fixed an issue where the device could crash during the multisport activity creation wizard.

Current beta peripheral software version numbers below. New versions are indicated in red.

GPS: 4.30
Wi-Fi: 2.60
Sensor Hub: 5.07
ANT/BLE/BT: 5.04

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Just did and seems to be fine on the first view.

But Sensor Hub was 'updated' automaticly back to 5.06 after a while ... ?!

This morning mine did the same went back to 5.06.

I did switch of automatic software update and put the sensor hub file again onto the watch ... is fine now.

Anybody else seeing this clipping and the partial blue background? I have contacted the beta team.

Doesn't help ... after a connection to Garmin Express it does the downgrade again - although switched off. Only thing you can choose is 'now' or 'tonigh' !!

Mine has reverted to 5.06 as well.

Same here, had Garmin Express set to run in background and it downgraded this morning and I had to install again! Had to go into general settings in Garmin Express and unchecked the run in background option.
