  • 8.76 updated, first notice, on the watch although the data graphs are there as they should be, the interpretation is lost: Training status 7d Load is ----- and 4w Load Focus shows No result.

  • Don't have that ... my Expedition looks normal.

  • Plenty of users in Fenix 6 forum are reporting the same, I am sure Garmin will sort it out

  • It would be worth having a scan through the Fenix 6 8.76 beta thread https://forums.garmin.com/outdoor-recreation/outdoor-recreation/f/fenix-6-series/222578/fenix-6-series---8-76-beta-release.  There are issues with the Pulse Ox widget and Training Status widget with this beta.  They're not critical and I'm sure Garmin will fix very quickly.  So not necessarily stoppers to using this beta; unless your life is simply incomplete if you can't manually measure pulse Ox (when Pulse Ox setting is to 'Off' or 'During Sleep' anyway) or you can't see your 7d load total or 4w load focus in the Training Status widget.

  • For what reason ever mine does obviously not have that problem...

But I did have another issue : My personality configured hiking app (using 2 IQ data fields) was struggling and lost those. But I could 'repair' and now even this one looks normal at the moment. But I will have an eye on it ...

  • To better illustrate the two issues:

    1. Training status screens not working.

    2.  Pulse Ox widget manual measurement and history not working.

    a.  Starting with Pulse Ox Mode Off, history is blank and there's no manual measurement.

    b.  Change to Pulse Ox Mode All Day, initially nothing changes in the widget.

    c.  If you exit the widget back to the watch face, then go back in to the widget, the history works and manual measurement starts after a few seconds.

    d.  Now switch from Pulse Ox All Day back to Off and initially the widget looks OK.

    e.  exit out to watch face, then go back in to widget glances; the widget glance is OK, but in the actual widget it's back to no history and no manual measurement.

As mentioned, this is all very repeatable and binary, so I'm sure it will be quickly fixed.

  • The problem with the Training Status widget appears to be confined to the two screen not showing data. The data is still being recorded and displayed after an activity and sent to GC. You just don’t get to see the numbers in the widget.

  • The 7 day load screen is a great example of this; the numbers are clearly there in the bars per day, but it's the total value that is not being displayed (total being just the simple addition of the numbers that make the per day bars up).  So this really does just seem like a simple data referencing error and thus quick to fix.

  • I have just done the downgrade on my MARQ to the previous beta (8.75) supplied in this updated post and it has wiped my device.

  • What do you mean by 'wiped'? If it did a factory reset that is an expected behavior, every firmware downgrade will factory reset your watch.
