Wireless update - never works for me - have to plug into the laptop.

Anyone else also have this issue or is it just me?

Bluetooth and WIFI - both work fine: music sync and daily activities

There have been a number of posts about this over the years so it's unlikely to be specific to your watch. Worth a check of some of those posts especially as the most recent update specifically addressed…

Yes. Router settings such as Netgear "Smart Connect' " (Let the router intelligently select the best WiFi band 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz for your WiFi connections) might cause a problem.

There have been a number of posts about this over the years so it's unlikely to be specific to your watch. Worth a check of some of those posts especially as the most recent update specifically addressed wifi issues. Have you updated to 7.10?

Two things in particular to check:

1) That your SSID is not hidden.

2) That you are connecting to a 2.4Ghz Network.

Beyond that you should contact Garmin Support?

Not on 7.10 - don’t think it’s rolled out to all yet. Rest is also as it is - although it could be the 2.4Ghz as my network broadcast both under the same SSID and routes/connects devices accordingly based upon their preferences. I can sync music and more with my watch - not an issue. But that’s a manual sync... let me test by setting up a dedicated SSID and test first - thanks!
