Where did you buy your MARQ?

I am interested in buying a MARQ Adventurer. But it is a significant purchase, I would like to try it first. In the Bay Area, no store have it. How did you guys buy yours? Did you expect to be able to return if it turned out to not be what you expected?

when they first came out, a code I had did work... but I was an idiot and was "I'll wait and see the reviews as way too much money to spend" -- they closed the hole of the particular coupon code, it still…

when they first came out, a code I had did work... but I was an idiot and was "I'll wait and see the reviews as way too much money to spend" -- they closed the hole of the particular coupon code, it still works for other watched they have, just not the MARQ. What I ended up doing was getting it through Bloomingdale's, they had some promo/coupon which dropped the price down to $1,275.00 (no sales tax or shipping for me to TX) + cash back of 12% + my credit card, which added another 5% on top since it was a department store. So while a little more complex, and cheapskate ;-) I ended up with close to 30% off.
