I've just finished a 5km treadmill run (using the built-in treadmill activity) on my MARQ Athlete + footpod. I wanted to calibrate the activity for distance when I'd finished it, but there was no sign of the "Calibrate and Save" option in the Pause menu, just the normal Save option. I know I've used this function many times before on my f5+, but can't remember if I've tried to use it on my MARQ (I've done other treadmill runs, just not wanted to calibrate them).
The MARQ manual says it should be there, the only criteria being that the run >1.5km so I don't know why it's not giving me the option. Anyone any ideas?
For now I've just manually adjusted the footpod calibration factor by: previous calibration value x (treadmill distance run / MARQ distance recorded). However, I don't know if that's what the Calibration option in the Treadmill activity actually does, or whether it leaves the footpod value unchanged (for regular outdoor runs) but maintains and adjusts a calibration factor which is uniquely for the Treadmill activity.
