MARQ - 5.62 Beta Release

5.62 Change Log Notes:

Added support for file based Emojis, which brings support for over 1300 Emojis. (Update your device through Express or connect it to Garmin Connect Mobile.)
Added support for ClimbPro ‘Climb Detection’ setting in Cycling. (Bike > Activity Settings > ClimbPro > Climb Detection) This allows the customer to customize grade ‘sensitivity’ when identifying climbs.
Fixed several issues with ClimbPro.
Brought in several improvements for CIQ.
Brought in several improvements and bug fixes for music.

Known issue with 5.62: We have identified the root cause of map detail missing from golf maps in this beta. The fix will be applied in the next public beta.

Current beta peripheral software version numbers:

GPS: 2.50
Wi-Fi: 2.60
Sensor Hub: 2.60
ANT/BLE/BT: 4.30

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

My Aviator also didn’t get the 5.30 non-beta version... what is going on?

Thanks for the question. We have recently made a decision not to post public beta's for Aviator products. We made this decision because, given this software is in 'beta' status, we did not want to take the risk of compromising the Fly App and any functions while flying. We're sorry this decision had to be made, but we believe it's best for the safety of all.

As a general question then (if allowed here, if not please feel free to remove), is there an active development team on the aviation features?

There hasn’t been much in the way of new features and updates for some issues (on the D2 at least, which to some extent are the same as the MARQ... dbrobert maintains a very good running list)
