Power Manager

Hi All,

I really like the new Power Manager functions only one thing is missing for my happiness is the Display Timeout setting in the Battery Saver menu which controls the normal watch mode.

If there were profiles for the normal mode as well that would be the sheer perfection.

Why? During the night and day most of the time the display is on when nobody looks at it and according to the activity power setup it could save more than 1 day battery.
, what's your opinion? Slight smile

Thank you,
Zoltan

  • Zoltan (), My question is why aren't you looking at the fenix 6 all night and day? Wink

No really, the option the Display Time out is not part of the Power Manager mode is because it already has a Backlight 'Turn Off' option.  Then an users can choose/create Power Management Profiles per activity allows you a bit more control (EX. Morning runs before sunrise backlight is needed for me, but for a bike ride at lunch or after work it isn't).

With that said, the Power Manager is a new feature and we are always looking into improving it.

  • Nicely put, but the reason is because I have a MARQ Slight smile

Joke aside, thank you for your response, I know that it can be done within an activity it was just a suggestion as it could save more battery which is always a good idea. And the watch looks very nice with a blank screen as well Slight smile

  • Hi!

I would love to see scheduled Power Manager features (per power save feature). EX. I m only interested in night time OHR scheduled from 10 PM till 6 AM. The rest of the day wrist hr could be off for me (as I use only belts when needed).

A schedule for watch face would be really cool, too. I would use different watch face night time (collecting hr data for a special purpose).
