Distance To Next on Course?

Was in Navigation mode, using this course on a backpacking trip. The course is about an 18-mile loop. Throughout the trip, on my "Distance To Next" data field, it kept telling me that the "next" was over 400 miles away.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong here?

I agree with you and thank you. For this one, I hope they get your Garmin folder, any pictures you have, the course and also your activity file. That should give us a bit to work with to try to figure out what could be causing that.
