No GPS Reception At All

My MARQ Athlete has literally no GPS reception and no matter I try I cannot resolve this.

I've tried to reset it multiple times (both methods mentioned here.) Only once I managed to get a GPS reception and afterwards I started a hike. In the middle of the hike the watch lost the reception again and it never came back ever since.(You can see this hike details here in Strava)

I've tried syncing with Garmin Express and as a last resort I've installed the GPS 2.42 update. And nothing.

When I hit "Save Location" from the quick actions menu, red circular progress bar literally doesn't move one bit. Very quickly I get the warning about trees and tall buildings.

Did anyone experience anything along these lines? I've owned multiple Fenix watches in the past and never ever had anything similar to this. I'm wondering if this is simply a faulty unit.

Also, I've bought the watch from USA (it wasn't available at the time in Europe) and I live in Germany. I wonder if this could impact the initial satellite reception somehow.
