Hi Guys,
I am thinking in buying the Athlete or the Expedition and would like to know if those watches also share the same buttons issue as the forerunner 245 and 945? The mushy feeling when touching the buttons.
Thank you all!

What button issue? We've had our 945s for a few months now and not seeing a problem. It would appear it's a problem that some units have, but not all. Avoid believing the vociferous few represent the silent majority. Sure there are some people having problems, but not all of us. I am sure there are far more happy people out there quietly enjoying their Garmin devices than the few who post here.
And no, there are no problems that I'm experiencing on my Marq Athlete. As you would expect for a watch at this price point, the Marq is very well designed and the buttons are very crisp and responsive certainly in comparison to the 945. Just what you'd expect with the $2000 price differential.
I wear the 945 for fun. I wear the Marq for show.
Buttons are solid on these. My F5+ got mushy and these are nothing like those buttons.
However, the buttons are different on the two MARQ's. I found the smaller buttons on the expedition easier to use as there is less hair interference and they didn't rub against my wrist bone. However, that leather band will stay clean for about 5 seconds (mine was dirty out of the box, almost certainly worn before I got it) and the feature difference is almost nil after aesthetics.
Honestly, I'm thinking of putting my Athlete on eBay to get out without too big of a loss. They look great but there's not enough, other, to justify the premium.
