MARQ aviator is showing plane icon in the map

Hi,

Is there any way to just see a normal "arrow" icon on the maps of MARQ Aviator?

I can only see a "plane" icon on the maps of this watch (I purchased the Aviator edition since I like the look of it, I don't care about any of the flying features).

I’m pretty familiar with all of the options on my MARQ Athlete and there isn’t anywhere to change that icon. So I suspect you’re stuck with the plane. That said, I think the plane looks pretty cool, so if there were an option to change the icon I’d like the opposite and switch to the plane on my Athlete!

I think an option to change the icon to a bike, runner etc would be fun :-)

Any work around to this yet? Just got mine and love it but not this.. seems like if you navigate from an activity there is just an arrow. But map view and navigate app both have the plane.

It would be very nice to have a toggle to remove all flight features. Many of us are buying these watches for the looks not the specialty features.

Not exactly what you're looking for, but the setting for that is in Settings >> Aviation >> Ownship. There you can choose from either an Airplane or Helicopter! No....the blue triangle isn't an option.

Nice find! But yeah unfortunately it doesn’t fix the issue. I’m just writing in the nav nap/map app for there were never a real use for them anyway. Thinking I’ll create my own nav apps by copying from a walking profile which uses the blue arrow.
