I was wondering if Garmin is planning to release different colours than the black? Would love to see more choices here. The Fenix 5 bands just don't look as good as the original Marq band.
Garmin-Heath can you say if something's in the planning?

The quick release bands from the Fenix line work fine on a MARQ.
I'd really like to see thinner leather and silicone bands with deployment buckles. I use my 22mm leather band from a Montblanc smart watch and it looks amazing while being thin enough to work well with dress shirts - can't do that with the monstrous ones from Garmin.
Yes and no..... You have to remove the "post" which is quick release as well and are left is a standard configuration to use any 22mm band you wish. Down side is you need tools to move back and forth.
Since I only use the MB band for dress attire it isn't too much of an inconvenience.
Once you remove the Garmin "Quick Release Band", there is a quick release post.
Then you can use any standard 22mm band. While the MB band is a touch too thin is works very well with a suit ;)
The gap between the watch and fenix bands isn't that bad looking. Here are some pics of the expedition with the amped yellow strap. I put some different faces on there to compare.
