MARQ - 3.33 Beta Release

Instructions for installation are available below the change log on each of these pages.

3.33 Change Log Notes:

Fixed a display issue with certain TOPO maps
Fixed an intermittent issue with navigation during an Expedition activity [EXPEDITION]
Improved the default GPS setting to be GPS+GLONASS instead of GPS
Increased the maximum total size of Connect IQ apps from 2MB to 4MB
Added support for showing cycling VO2 Max and cycling totals on the watch face [ATHLETE]
Added support for switching between Mono and Stereo music playback

Current beta peripheral software version numbers:

GPS: 2.42
Wi-Fi: 2.60
Sensor Hub: 2.03
ANT/BLE/BT: 3.60

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Nice! Does this include any updates to the communications stack? Improved bluetooth perhaps?

Athlete version here, I did not do the 3.31 beta, but there is no WiFi folder in the 3.33 beta file I downloaded.

Sorry for the confusion. The 2.60 Wifi version is currently "Live" for all MARQ devices - there is no file because you don't need to install a wifi update. I'll be more clear when we have our next beta update.

No word on the bug where if using nested repeat it prematurely (and consistently, i.e every time) ends a lap and messes up the whole training session?

I don't know a whole lot about GPS technology and everything my Garmin can do, I just like Garmin watches and click run and go run, etc etc, but I followed the steps and it says I'm running 3.33. That being said, I went to start a walk and checked out the Run Settings and the GPS was still set to GPS Only. Same with all my other activities after checking them. But like I said, maybe that's not what you mean when you say "Default GPS setting to be GPS+GLONASS instead of GPS".

Expedition here, I just installed and saw a pop up saying Bluetooth software updated.

I just rebooted and saw the same message again, weird.

Installed on the Athlete. Thanks for the cycling watch face.

It now pairs and plays on my shure bt2. Question, does the Marq use aptx or aptx hd? Or just sbc codec?

Sweet, just installed it on my end. Can't wait to give it a go and see if my problems with music playback will finally come to an end. Fingers crossed!
