Had the MARQ Expedition for a month now - all good up until yesterday. Last recorded a run on 26th May with no issues and playing audio over BT on Bose Soundsport wireless earbuds - no problem. Then yesterday when for a run and had the following issues:
1) BT would not play on Soundsports - watch would connect to headphones and I could select different songs from my playlists but when tried to play, song just displayed at 0.00 seconds of music and would not play. No sound at all.
2) Then set off on trail run activity. Clock starts and shows pace but distance remains at zero for entire run. Map screen in trail run app showed location correctly (so GPS working) but a straight red line back to my start point. When finished run, save data just hangs - had to hold light button down to restart.
3) Following run, did further resets and then a master reset - deleting watch from garmin.com and GC & GCM (although I did not copy and delete the Garmin file off my computer). Reinstalled and problems remain. Any activity recorded continues to show zero distance and now, when closing the activity app as either 'save' or 'dismiss/delete' the app hangs forcing a reset.
4) Further problem now with GCM in that when trying to reconnect my watch to the app, I get a sync failed error in the GCM app (although the watch is reinstalled and connects on the iPhone bluetooth connected devices). I can reconnect the watch in the GC app via the lead thankfully.
So not good! Am currently copying of whole Garmin file on my computer in case the recommendation is to do another master reset having deleted my current Garmin file off my computer (could it be corrupted??). Have not yet spoken to Garmin support but wondering if this will necessitate a replacement watch?
Any thoughts and advise gratefully received! Thanks
