Has anyone experienced any issues with there down  and menu buttons having a a notchy click feel to them compered to the other buttons,

after a few presses they appear to feel ok but after a while of not using them say 1hr they feel notchy again for the first few presses

I purchased from jura and they are going to have a look at it and possibly send to Garmin

Sorry to hear MARQ also suffers from Garmin QC level.

FR945 and 245(M) platform also suffers from this feature Wink

  • I'm also experiencing this with my Athlete edition. I also purchased from Jura actually though not sure that's relevant. What was the outcome for you on this? Did Garmin provide an explanation / replacement?

Perhaps try cleaning it before you opt for a replacement. My 5 Plus' start/stop button developed a notchy feel after ingesting some debris and it was rectified simply by soaking it in warm soapy water for a while in order to soften the debris and then hitting the button a few times to clear it.

If you run trails, you'll probably need to do this once a month (thats about my cycle anyway). That'd be a lot of frustrating replacements if you weren't able to self-service Slight smile

It was a bit of a wait but I got a new watch replacement.I had to send mine to Jura for them to send to Garmin to look at it first, who confirmed the fault and that Garmin would send a new watch to Jura for them to then send new watch to me. I’ve not had the problem with my new watch

  • Really appreciate you taking the time to respond with that advice Joel. I'll try that before I contact Garmin. Thanks again for your help

  • Thanks for confirming. Interesting, I'll try to clean first though it does sound like mine is doing exactly what your first one did!
